Full Itinerary

Day 1 Cusco - Ollantaytambo - Pisac - Chinchero - Cusco

Our exciting adventure will begin with an early morning pick up from your hotel in our transportation. Thus, our first stop will be in the picturesque village of Chinchero. Here, you will be able to explore the ancient agricultural terraces and discover the vestiges of the royal hacienda of Tupac Inca Yupanqui. You will also have the opportunity to visit an interesting colonial temple built on Inca foundations.

To end our visit to this town, we will visit a Textile Interpretation Center. Here, we will have a demonstration of the art of Andean weaving.

Later, we will go to Moray and observe the fascinating circular terraces. Then, we will arrive at the salt mines of Maras, where salt has been extracted naturally since the time of the Incas. Our next stop is the Ollantaytambo Archaeological Center, built to guard the entrance to the valley and protect it from possible invasions. Afterwards, we head to Urubamba to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch.

After refueling, we will explore the picturesque town of Pisac and its Archaeological Complex, strategically located on top of a mountain to offer breathtaking views of the valley. At the conclusion of our day, we will return to Cusco, arriving around 7:00 p.m.
