Full Itinerary

Day 1 Cusco - Pisac - Urubamba - Ollantaytambo - Aguas Calientes

Our first day of the Machu Picchu and Sacred Valley tour 2 days will begin at 8:30 a.m. Our transportation will pick you up from the hotel, as previously arranged, and we will head towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Our first stop will be the Pisac Artisan Market, where you can purchase souvenirs, scarves, ponchos, and other products made by local craftsmen.

Following this brief stop, we will continue to the Pisac archaeological site. We will walk for approximately 10 minutes to reach the site. Here, we will enjoy a guided tour of about an hour, during which we will explore key locations such as the agricultural area, the Inca cemetery, and the Temple of the Sun, among others.

After our visit to Pisac, we will travel by transport to Urubamba, where around noon, we will take a break to enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.

Subsequently, we will proceed to the Ollantaytambo Archaeological Center. We will have ample time to explore and learn about the history of this impressive tourist site in Cusco. Our tour of the Sacred Valley of the Incas will conclude around 3:45 p.m.

At the end of the tour, we will drop you off at the Ollantaytambo train station, where you will board the 4:36 p.m. train to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Town). The train journey will last approximately one hour and 45 minutes. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, our transfer will be waiting to take you to your hotel.

Today is the big day—today we will visit Machu Picchu! Before we start, we need to wake up early to enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel. Afterwards, we will head to the bus terminal to ascend to the Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu.

Once at the Llaqta, our guide will accompany us for approximately two hours on a guided tour of this modern wonder. We will have ample time to explore its main plazas and temples, including the famous Intihuatana, the Temple of the Condor, and all the other Inca structures.

After visiting Machu Picchu, we will return by bus to Aguas Calientes, where you can enjoy a delicious lunch. Later, we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo and then continue by bus to Cusco.
