Over three days we got to experience Valle Sagrado, Machu Picchu, and Siete Lagunas. The guides provided by Andean Peru helped us get so much out of the diverse landscapes and expansive histories of the sites we visited.
In particular, Cosme Cuba Gutierrez, who guided us through Machu Picchu, was an unforgettable individual. Not only was his knowledge of history and culture riveting, but, being a researcher and author himself, had many personal anecdotes that tied into the topics covered. His expertise and hospitality stand out among the tours I've taken in Tunisia and Croatia.
