How long does the tour last?

It is a full-day tour with an approximate duration of 10 to 12 hours.

Is lunch included?

In most cases, yes. It is usually a buffet lunch in Urubamba. It is always recommended to confirm at the time of booking.

Do I need the Tourist Ticket?

Yes. Entry to Pisac, Moray, and Ollantaytambo requires the Cusco Tourist Ticket. The Maras Salt Mines have a separate entrance fee that is paid on-site.

What is the maximum altitude of the tour?

The highest altitude is usually reached in Chinchero (if included) at approximately 3,760 m (12,336 ft). Moray is located at 3,500 m (11,483 ft). The Sacred Valley (Urubamba) is at a lower altitude, around 2,870 m (9,416 ft).

Is the tour physically demanding?

This is not a trekking tour. It includes short walks within the archaeological sites and some Inca stairs. It is suitable for most travelers.

Is it recommended for the first day?

Yes, especially because the Sacred Valley is at a lower altitude than Cusco, which helps with the acclimatization process.

Can I end the tour in Ollantaytambo?

Yes. Many travelers choose to finish the tour in Ollantaytambo to take the train to Machu Picchu.
