This is an alternative to conventional tours—get to know a little bit about Cusco and Arequipa. You’ll see the last Inca bridge that’s still in use and is renovated every year. Local communities are responsible for carrying out this annual renovation, and the festival takes place in June. This is a wonderful tour of the southern region of Cusco, where we’ll visit several tourist attractions that aren’t yet very popular with visitors. Enjoy the culture, nature, flora, and fauna of this magnificent itinerary designed for you—if you’re looking for a bit of peace and tranquility while exploring places off the beaten path. The tour includes: the 4-Lakes Circuit, the Q’eswachaka Bridge (Inca Bridge), the 3 Suykutambo Canyons, and Mauk’allaqta. To this circuit, we’ve added the charming town of Chivay, the Colca Canyon, the Volcanoes Viewpoint, and we’ll conclude in the “White City” of Arequipa. This is one of the new options offered by the southern region of Cusco, combined with the classic highlights of Arequipa. Let this great 3-day adventure begin!!!

The guides provided by Andean Peru helped us get so much out of the diverse landscapes and expansive histories of the sites we visited. In particular, Cosme Cuba Gutierrez, who guided us through Machu Picchu, was an unforgettable individual. Not only was his knowledge of history and culture riveting, but, being a researcher and author himself, had many personal anecdotes that tied into the topics covered. His expertise and hospitality stand out among the tours I've taken in Tunisia and Croatia. I can't recommend this tour company enough!
